About me

An engineer by degree, I have spent the past sixteen years founding, co-founding and managing deep technology start-ups with an international scope (Europe, USA and Asia). Recently, I have moved on to managing a start-up studio for a public research center, while also aiding deep tech start-up entrepreneurs.

To this end, I am currently developing a "Periodic Table of the Tech CEO" to help guide entrepreneurs through the process of building, developing and valuing their companies.

My own entrepreneurial journey has been filled with successes and failures alike; it is this experience that I would like to share with others, as I too have benefitted from the experience of other entrepreneurs.

My entrepreneurial path has taken me into the realms of consumer electronics, intellectual property licensing, hardware manufacturing, software processing and more recently machine learning.

Although not a specialist in any particular domain, I feel that I have acquired a broad knowledge of all the instruments at my disposal - much like a conductor overseeing an orchestra. This is indeed the best analogy that comes to mind as it reflects my own personal experiences with both professional and amateur conductors who have imparted their knowledge of this art form.

I am a strong advocate for the view that managing a company is an art which can be both taught and learned through shared experiences.
